Kruger Park Safaris

* Day trip - Introduction

At a pre –determined time you will be collected from the collection point and drive to the Kruger National park and enter at a gate. Here your guide will briefly explain the planned route and a few other elements. A breakfast and lunch stop will be made before you will be returned to the drop off point in the late afternoon.

The programme in more detail

Due to the fact that this is a day visits we tend to spend more time driving than usual, this is purposely done as to afford our guests the maximum chance of seeing some of the wonderful wildlife of Kruger park. As previously mentioned we make regulation stops for breakfast and lunch , guests can also make use of bathrooms. While on the road we also stop at picnic stops and vantage points where guests may get off the vehicle and stretch their legs. It is very difficult to give an exact time when breakfast and lunch stops will take place as this will very much be dependant on the sightings we have had.

Specialist Kruger Safaris

* 2 Night Family Safari

Family safaris are conducted on a private basis and no other guests are taken along on these safaris.

The itineraries (programs) follows the basic safari models, however in our opinion utilising cottages is by far the best option for these families. The accommodation with the 2 separate bedrooms and open plan lounge/ dinning area is ideal.

We do recommend that children be at least 6 years and older before they participate on these safaris. People travelling with children younger than 6 years will have to make use of a closed microbus as opposed to the safari vehicle.

Every effort is made to keep the children occupied and make the safari as enjoyable for the children as for the adults. To this point we have a special program and “games” that are acted out to keep this young minds busy.

Another handy hint is once in the respective camps is to allow the children to run around and play games, following the basic guidelines will ensure a enjoyable safari for all.
